Who Can Apply

Specialist doctors with MBBS and the required PG qualification, registered with a State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India, up to 62 years, can attend. Employees of the Health Department, UT Chandigarh are not covered, as the engagement is for those who are not its employees.

Educational Qualification

• Paediatrician: MBBS with MD/DNB in Paediatrics / DCH. Preferred: experience in Newborn Care Unit / SNCU; CCC+ (Course on Computer Concepts Plus, 120 hours).
• Surgery: MBBS with MS/DNB in Surgery. Preferred: experience in relevant field; CCC+.
• Orthopaedics: MBBS with MS/DNB in Orthopaedics. Preferred: hospital experience; CCC+.
• Medicine: MBBS with MD/DNB/Diploma in Medicine. Preferred: hospital experience; CCC+.
• ENT: MBBS with MD/DNB/Diploma in ENT. Preferred: hospital experience; CCC+.
• Psychiatrist: MBBS with MD/DNB/Diploma in Psychiatry. Preferred: hospital experience; CCC+.
• All must be registered with the State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India, New Delhi.

Up to 62 years.

Honorarium and Terms

• Rs 2,000 for one slot of two hours (5:00 PM to 7:00 PM), paid monthly from the state budget based on the number of slots worked.
• Temporary, on direct contract. No claim for regular appointment.
• No GPF/CPF/GIS, EPF/ESI or gratuity; no accommodation, conveyance or HRA.
• No casual, maternity, abortion or medical leave.
• Specialists will be liable for any liability arising from their own negligence.

Selection Process

• Walk-in interview on 01.10.2026. Registration is strictly from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by the interview (the notice also mentions 12:00 Noon as the interview time).
