Who Can Apply
Candidates holding the requisite medical postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB/MDS as applicable) for the specialty applied, meeting the specified teaching/research experience and registration requirements, may attend the walk-in interview.

Note: Outside-state candidates must get their qualification registered with the Telangana State Medical Council within one week of selection for their appointment to be confirmed.
Age Limit
As on 31 March 2026: Assistant Professor candidates must be below 65 years; Senior Resident and Tutor candidates must be below 45 years.
Selection Process
Selection is based on marks obtained in the MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh/MDS PG Degree, for Assistant Professor and Senior Resident posts (if marks are not awarded in the qualifying exam, 50% marks will be considered). Rule of Reservation applies wherever applicable. Selection follows a Nationwide process — first preference is given to local candidates; if unavailable, candidates from other states will be considered, with local cadre rules followed as per PO 2018.

- Attend the walk-in interview in person on 12 August 2026, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, at Government Medical College, Wanaparthy.

- Candidates presently working on contract in the same cadre at any other Government Medical College in Telangana are NOT eligible to apply.
- Selected candidates must report to work within one week of receiving their appointment order, and submit original certificates along with a one-year bond on Rs.100 stamp paper (duly notarized) at the time of joining.
