All candidates must have updated Medical Registration (NMC/State Medical Council) for their respective qualification (MBBS/MD/MS). ESIC Medical College Indore Recruitment 2026: Terms of Contract
- Tenure of all posts is 1 year, or joining of a regular incumbent, or attainment of 70 years of age — whichever is earliest.
- The contract may be terminated from either side with one month’s prior notice, without assigning reason. If a selected candidate resigns on the spot, one month’s salary must be deposited to the ESI Account via Challan.
- No claim for service benefits such as PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Medical Benefits, Seniority or Promotion will be admissible — this is a purely contractual role.
- Since this is a contractual appointment, absence from work beyond 7 days without proper permission from the competent authority amounts to voluntary abandonment and automatic termination.
- Attendance must be marked both manually and via the Aadhaar Enabled Bio-metric Attendance System (AEBAS) daily.
- Leave of 2.5 days is credited for each completed month, with no provision for any other leave type including Special Casual Leave or Commuted Leave. Sunday/holiday duty applies as per the rotation schedule.
- Selected candidates for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Senior Resident posts must deposit a Security Deposit of ₹20,000, forfeited if the candidate resigns/leaves within 6 months of joining, or upon termination by the institute.
- Candidates involved in patient care and clinical management must hold a Professional Indemnity Policy covering the contract period, with minimum annual sum assured of ₹30 lakh (Anaesthesiology, ENT, Eye, Medicine, Obs & Gynae, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Surgery, Accident & Emergency, ICU), ₹20 lakh (Chest), and ₹10 lakh (Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Dermatology, Radiology, Psychiatry, Dental) — submitted within 7 days of engagement, failing which service will be terminated.
- The contract is executed on a Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of ₹500, to be brought by the candidate before joining.
