EIL Recruitment 2026: 20 Associate Engineer (Inspection) Posts, Walk-in, Salary up to Rs 64,000

Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Navratna PSU, will hold walk-in interviews for 20 experienced engineers on a fixed-term basis for its SCM (Inspection) department (Advt. HRD/Rectt./Advt./2026-27/10). The posts are Associate Engineer Grade-I – Inspection in Mechanical/Metallurgical (16) and Electrical (4). The work involves inspecting and expediting critical equipment for refinery, petrochemical and oil & gas projects. Online registration runs from 26 September to 12 October 2026, and monthly pay is up to Rs 64,000.

Who Can Apply

Mechanical, Metallurgical or Electrical engineers with at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPI) and at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification inspection experience can apply. The upper age limit is 32 years as on 31 August 2026. You can apply for only one position.

Educational Qualification

• Position A (Mechanical/Metallurgical): B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering with at least 60%. Minimum 2 years’ experience inspecting pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns/towers, reactors and other static equipment to ASME codes, or pumps/compressors to API standards, for refinery/petrochemical services. Knowledge of welding processes and drawings/codes is desirable.
• Position B (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical Engineering with at least 60%. Minimum 2 years’ experience inspecting switchboards, motors, transformers, alternators, generators, VFDs, UPS, control systems, battery chargers, cables and electrical bulk items. Knowledge of IEC, NEC and IS codes is essential.
• The qualification must have been completed within the prescribed minimum course duration.

Salary

The consolidated monthly pay includes HRA and PF. Other benefits: medical insurance premium reimbursement (cover up to Rs 2 lakh), out-of-pocket expenses for extra hours, GPAI coverage, TA for official travel, and 2 days’ paid leave per completed month.

Selection Process
