  • B.Com from any recognized board.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the government sector.
  • Certificate in Tally Accounting Software from a recognized institute.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Access is essential, along with an English typing speed of 35 WPM.

3. MPW (1 Post, for Daman)

This post is specifically attached to the National Programme for Prevention and Management of Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Disorders. Essential qualification is an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) or Multipurpose Worker course, along with 1 year of experience in the field. Age must not exceed 30 years. The pay structure here is different from the other three posts — Rs.15,000 total per month, split as Rs.10,000 fixed remuneration plus Rs.5,000 as Performance Linked Payment (PLP), meaning part of the monthly pay is tied to performance rather than being a flat guaranteed amount.

4. Staff Nurse (1 Post, for Diu Ayush Hospital)

Essential qualification is a B.Sc (Hons.) in Nursing, or a regular 4-year B.Sc Nursing course, or a 4-year BSc Nursing Ayurveda course from a recognized Institute/University, or a Post-basic B.Sc Nursing (2-year course) from a recognized Institute/University. Age must not exceed 35 years, and the consolidated pay is Rs.25,000 per month.

DNH & DD National AYUSH Mission Recruitment 2026: Selection Process

Selection for all four posts is based on interviews only — there is no written examination mentioned in the notice. After scrutiny of the applications received, eligible candidates will be informed at least 7 days in advance regarding the date, time and venue of the interview, through email and telephone. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview, so applicants should be prepared to bear their own travel costs, particularly relevant for candidates applying from outside Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu given the notice explicitly invites applications from across India.

Why This Recruitment Is Structured the Way It Is

The National AYUSH Mission is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme run by the Ministry of AYUSH to strengthen infrastructure and service delivery for Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy across India, and Union Territories like Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu receive dedicated funding and staffing support under it. That’s why this notice spans such a varied set of posts — a senior Panchakarma specialist doctor for the Diu Ayush Hospital, an Accountant to manage the District Programme Management Unit’s (DPMU) finances, an MPW specifically tied to a national osteoarthritis and musculoskeletal disorders programme, and a Staff Nurse for hospital duties — all funded and structured under the same central mission umbrella, but each filling a genuinely distinct functional gap. Candidates should note that because these are National AYUSH Mission-funded contractual posts rather than permanent Union Territory government positions, continuity typically depends on the mission’s own funding cycles being renewed, which is standard for Centrally Sponsored Scheme staff nationwide and not specific to this particular notice.

The Performance Linked Payment structure for the MPW post is also worth understanding on its own terms. Rather than paying the full Rs.15,000 as a fixed salary, the Mission has split it into a Rs.10,000 guaranteed base and a Rs.5,000 component tied to performance — a structure commonly used in public health programmes to incentivise field-level workers on outcome-linked activities, such as patient screening, follow-up, and programme coverage targets specific to the osteoarthritis and musculoskeletal disorders initiative this post supports.
