About This Recruitment

This recruitment drive fills 23 Group-C posts across four categories in the Mayurbhanj Judgeship: 12 Junior Clerk-Cum-Copyist, 5 Grade-III Stenographer, 4 Junior Typist, and 2 Salaried Amin posts, all offered on a regular basis under Odisha’s ORSP Rules, 2017 pay matrix, subject to the outcome of a pending High Court writ petition. These Group-C judicial staff posts offer stable, long-term government careers within the district court administration of Mayurbhanj.

Why Candidates Must Act Quickly

With the application deadline set for 07 September 2026 at 5:00 PM, candidates have a very narrow window to complete Form A, gather self-attested documents, and dispatch their application via Speed Post or the drop box at the District & Sessions Judge’s Administrative Office in Mayurbhanj. Given that applications received after the due date and time are summarily rejected regardless of postal delays, candidates relying on Speed Post should send their application immediately rather than waiting until the final day, since transit time cannot be guaranteed.

Understanding the Multi-Stage Examination Process

All four posts follow a three-part selection process, a written test, a practical/skill test, and a viva voce, with candidates required to clear each stage’s qualifying marks before advancing to the next. For the stenographer and typist posts, the shorthand and typewriting tests are conducted through a computer system in English only, so candidates should ensure their practical typing and shorthand speed genuinely meets the 40-80 words per minute thresholds specified, since these skill tests carry qualifying weight independent of the written English paper.

Final Word

Eligible candidates meeting the age, qualification, and Odia language requirements for any of the 23 Group-C posts should complete Form A and dispatch their application via Speed Post or the drop box immediately, well before the 5:00 PM deadline on 07 September 2026.
