Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist & Junior Typist — Eligibility

• Must be a citizen of India.
• Must have passed at least a +3 examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
• Must have passed at least a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute.
• Age: 18 years or above and below 42 years, as on the last date fixed for receipt of application (relaxation for reserved categories as per rules).
• Must be able to speak, read, and write Odia, and have passed a test in Odia equivalent to M.E. standard.
• Must be of good character, sound health, and good physique.
• Must not have more than one spouse living, if married.
• For Junior Typist: minimum typewriting speed of 40 words per minute through computer system in English.

Salaried Amin — Eligibility

• Must fulfil the citizenship, age, Odia proficiency, character, health, and marital status criteria applicable to the other two posts.
• Must have passed the Matriculation examination or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Must have passed the Revenue Inspector Training from a recognized institution.

Selection Process

For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist

Qualifying cutoff for Computer Science Test (Practical): 50% for General/other categories, 40% for SC/ST candidates.

For Junior Typist

Candidates are given a 400-word English passage to reproduce by typing through computer system in 10 minutes. Qualifying marks in the Typewriting Test: 55% for General/other categories, 50% for SC/ST candidates. Qualifying cutoff for Computer Science Test (Practical): 50% for General/other categories, 40% for SC/ST candidates.

For Salaried Amin

Only successful candidates in Part-I are called for the Part-II Practical Test (Survey), and those who qualify the Practical Test are eligible for the Part-III Viva-Voce.
