CSIR-TKDL Project Recruitment 2026 – Overview

The notice says the posting location may change as per project requirements and candidate availability. A waitlist panel valid for 1 year will be kept for future vacancies.

Pay and Age

Age is relaxable for statutory categories as per CSIR/Govt. of India rules.

Educational Qualification (Summary)

• ✓IT posts: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT, or MCA. TKD3901 (Senior PA) needs 3 years R&D experience after B.E./B.Tech/MCA, or M.E./M.Tech with 2 years. Data Science posts also accept AI/ML/Data Science/Electronics degrees.
• ✓Ayurveda: BAMS for PA-I; Senior PA needs BAMS + 3 years R&D experience, or MD (Ayurveda) + 2 years. Proficiency in Sanskrit or Malayalam preferred.
• ✓Unani: BUMS; proficiency in Arabic and/or Persian preferred. Siddha: BSMS for PA-I; Senior PA needs BSMS + 3 years, or MD (Siddha) + 2 years. Sowa Rigpa: Bachelor’s in Sowa Rigpa medicine for PA-I; Senior PA needs 3 years experience, or MD + 2 years.
• ✓Patent: Master’s in Chemical/Biological Sciences/Bioinformatics/Cheminformatics for PA-I; Senior PA needs the same + 3 years, or a Doctorate + 2 years. Patent analytics / PG Diploma in IPR is desirable.
• ✓Sanskrit (Senior PA): Master’s in Sanskrit + 3 years, or Doctorate + 2 years. Yoga (PA-I): Master’s in Yoga.

Candidates in the final semester or awaiting results are not eligible. Essential criteria are checked as on 12 October 2026.

Selection Process

• ✓Written test on the date and time at the posting location given against the post code; results are declared the same day.
• ✓Shortlisted candidates are interviewed in hybrid mode (offline and online), on the same day or another day.
• ✓Bring originals, two copies of self-attested photographs and a set of self-attested certificates, plus a typed bio-data on A4 paper.
• ✓No TA/DA. Mere meeting of the qualification does not give a right to be called.

Terms

• ✓Tenure is co-terminus with the project – initially up to 31 March 2027, and at most until 31 March 2031. It cannot exceed 6 years cumulatively in CSIR.
• ✓Contract can be ended with 1 month’s notice or 1 month’s stipend. No right to regularisation.
• ✓If employed, an NOC from the present employer is needed at joining.
