Who Can Apply
- Educational Qualification (Head Constable/GD): 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Educational Qualification (Constable/GD): Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.

- Sports Eligibility: Candidates must be medal winners, position holders, or participants in recognized International, National, Senior National, Youth/Junior National Championships, Inter-University Competitions, Khelo India Games, or National School Games, between 30 September 2024 and 30 September 2026.
- Physical Standards: Height – Male 170 cm, Female 157 cm (relaxable for ST/NE/hill-state candidates); Chest (Male) – 80 cm unexpanded with 5 cm minimum expansion (relaxable for certain categories); weight proportionate to height and age.
- Candidates must be Indian citizens and ordinarily resident of India.
Selection Process
Selection involves Identity & Biometric Verification, Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST – height and chest), Sports Trial Test based on order of preference (International representation given first preference, followed by National/Inter-University/Khelo India achievers), and Detailed Medical Examination.
