College of Fisheries CAU Recruitment 2026: College of Fisheries, Central Agricultural University, Lembucherra, Tripura (West), invites eligible candidates for a walk-in interview for the contractual project position of Young Professional-I under a project on the Live Gene Bank for Endemic Fish Species of Northeast India. • Essential Qualification: B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science), as per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri.Edn.1-06/2020-A&P dated 04.12.2020.
• Desirable: A Postgraduate degree in Fisheries Resource Management/Aquaculture, and research/field-work experience in fish biology, water quality analysis, and data analysis.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit 35 years – relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/Women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates, or as per the latest Central Government notification.

Engagement Terms

• The appointment is purely contractual and co-terminus with the project.
• The initial appointment is for 6 months, or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
• The authority has the discretion to cancel/postpone the interview, and to increase or decrease the number of posts.
