Age Limit

The minimum age for this contractual recruitment is 18 years and the maximum age is 64 years. Age will be calculated by taking 01 January 2026 as the reference date for the contract year.

Application Fee

The application fee depends on both your category and the monthly honorarium of the post you are applying for.

CategoryHonorarium up to Rs. 25,000Honorarium above Rs. 25,000
PwBD/SC/ST/WomenRs. 100Rs. 200
OBCRs. 200Rs. 300
UnreservedRs. 300Rs. 400

The fee must be paid only through a Demand Draft from any nationalised bank, made in favour of “District Health Society, Raipur.” This DD is non-refundable and must be attached with your application form. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application and a separate Demand Draft for each post.

Salary

The monthly honorarium varies widely by post. Sr. Nursing Officer (NMHP) and Clinical Psychologist (Tele Manas) carry the highest pay at Rs. 31,500 each, followed by Audiologist at Rs. 25,000. Common posts like Nursing Officer and Staff Nurse carry Rs. 16,500, while Community Health Officer and ANM posts carry Rs. 16,500 and Rs. 12,000 respectively. Support Staff and Class-IV posts carry between Rs. 8,800 and Rs. 12,000 per month.

This is a fixed monthly honorarium under the approved Recurring Operational Plan (ROP), and no other allowance or facility will be given apart from this consolidated amount.

Selection Process

Selection for these 33 posts is based on a Walk-in process rather than a traditional online exam, but it still follows a clear merit-based structure.

  1. Screening: If the total vacancies for a post are up to 10, candidates equal to 10 times the vacancy are called. For 11 to 50 vacancies, 5 times the vacancy are called, and for more than 50 vacancies, 3 times the vacancy are called for the next stage.
  2. Registration and Document Verification: Candidates must appear with the original application form, original documents and one self-attested photocopy of each document.
  3. Written/Skill Test: Most posts require a written or skill test worth 20 marks, with a minimum of 30% marks compulsory to qualify (20% for SC/ST/OBC candidates). A few posts, such as Class-IV (NUHM/UHWC), Class-4 (MSSK) and Support Staff (Housekeeping, ICU), are selected purely on merit without a written test.
  4. Final Merit List: The final list combines marks from educational qualification (65% weightage of marks scored), experience marks (10 or 15, depending on category) and the written/skill test score.

Since this is a single-day Walk-in process for each post, candidates are called in stages through the day: registration and document verification in the morning, screening at midday, followed by claims/objections and the written or skill test in the afternoon.

Documents Required

Keep the following original documents, along with one self-attested photocopy of each, ready for the Walk-in process.

  • 8th mark sheet (for Class-IV posts and date of birth proof)
  • 10th mark sheet (date of birth proof)
  • 12th mark sheet
  • Mark sheets of all years for the prescribed minimum educational qualification
  • Mark sheets for any additional desired qualification
  • Live registration certificate from the relevant Chhattisgarh council, wherever applicable
  • Permanent disability certificate in the prescribed format issued by the District Medical Board, if applicable
  • Valid caste certificate from a competent authority, if applicable
  • Chhattisgarh local residence certificate
  • Experience certificate, if claiming experience marks
  • Identity proof (Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card)
  • Demand Draft for the prescribed application fee, made in the correct name and amount

Since document verification happens on the same day as the Walk-in, arrange every certificate in advance. Missing or mismatched documents on the spot could disqualify you from appearing for the written or skill test.

Why You Should Apply

This recruitment is a strong opportunity for candidates from nursing, paramedical, health administration, IT and general support backgrounds who want government healthcare experience in Chhattisgarh’s capital district. With 206 vacancies spread across thirty-three posts, candidates with qualifications ranging from 8th pass to specialised postgraduate degrees can all find a matching post.

Working under the National Health Mission and the Urban Health Programme gives you direct exposure to public health service delivery, which strengthens your profile for future permanent recruitments in the state health department. Since the Walk-in process moves quickly, from document verification to the written test on the same day, candidates get clarity on their selection status sooner compared to long multi-stage online recruitments.

Preparation Tips

  • Prepare and print the application form in the prescribed format well before your allotted Walk-in date.
  • Get your Demand Draft made in advance in the exact name and amount specified in the notification.
  • Organise your mark sheets, registration certificates and category documents in the same order listed in the notification.
  • If your post requires a written or skill test, revise the core subject knowledge and basic computer topics relevant to your post.
  • Reach the correct venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled reporting time.
  • Double-check whether your post’s registration certificate with the Chhattisgarh council is live and updated before the walk-in date.

Since many posts also carry experience marks in the final merit calculation, keep your government or semi-government experience certificates ready and properly attested, as private sector experience is generally not considered for these posts.
