This table gives you a quick summary of the whole recruitment. Out of 107 posts, Nursing Officer & Staff Nurse carries the highest share with 30 vacancies, followed by Class-IV (UAAM) with 21 posts and Jr. Secretarial Assistant with 17 posts. This mix means candidates with nursing, paramedical, clerical and support staff backgrounds all have a genuine opportunity here.

Since these posts run under the National Health Mission, the pay is fixed as a consolidated monthly honorarium rather than a regular pay scale. Even so, working under NHM Durg gives you valuable government healthcare experience and a stepping stone toward more permanent postings later.

Age Limit

The minimum age for this contractual recruitment is 18 years. The maximum age is 70 years for medical posts and 64 years for managerial posts. Age will be calculated by taking 01 January 2026 as the reference date.

Application Fee

As per the Chhattisgarh General Administration Department’s order dated 08 April 2022, no examination or application fee will be charged from candidates who are local residents of Chhattisgarh state for this recruitment.

Salary

The monthly honorarium differs for each post. Psychologist (Clinical) and Programme Associate (NTEP) carry the highest pay at Rs. 23,000 and Rs. 22,300 respectively, while Nursing Officer & Staff Nurse posts carry Rs. 16,500 or Rs. 16,000 depending on the programme. Posts like Class-IV, Ward Assistant, Support Staff and Security Guard carry a consolidated pay between Rs. 8,800 and Rs. 10,000 per month.

This is a fixed one-time consolidated honorarium under the Recurring Operational Plan (ROP), and no other allowance or additional facility will be given apart from this amount.

Selection Process

Selection for these posts is based entirely on a merit list, without any interview.

  1. Screening: If the total vacancies for a post are up to 10, candidates equal to 10 times the vacancy are called for verification. If vacancies are between 11 and 50, candidates equal to 5 times the vacancy are called.
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must appear with original documents. Missing original documents at this stage leads to disqualification from the skill test.
  3. Skill/Written Test: A skill-based or computer-based test carrying 20 marks is held for eligible candidates. A minimum of 40% marks in this test is compulsory to qualify.
  4. Final Merit List: The final list is prepared by combining marks from educational qualification, experience (including any COVID-19 bonus marks where applicable), and the skill/written test.

Since there is no interview stage, your academic percentage, experience certificates and performance in the skill test together decide your final selection and merit rank.

Documents Required

Keep the following original documents ready for verification.

  • 10th mark sheet (as proof of date of birth)
  • 12th mark sheet
  • Mark sheets of all years of Graduation/Post-Graduation or other prescribed qualification
  • Live registration certificate from the relevant council (Nursing/Paramedical/Pharmacy, as applicable)
  • Chhattisgarh domicile certificate issued by a competent authority
  • Permanent caste certificate, if applicable
  • Disability certificate (UDID) with 40% or more disability, if applicable
  • Identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card or Driving Licence
  • No Objection Certificate, if currently working in a government, semi-government or government-aided institution
  • Appointment order and experience certificate, if claiming experience marks

Since final selection depends on document verification, make sure every certificate you upload matches the details entered in your online application, or your candidature could be cancelled at any stage.

Why You Should Apply

This recruitment is a strong opportunity for candidates from nursing, paramedical, health administration and general support backgrounds who want to work within the government health system in Chhattisgarh. With 107 vacancies spread across eighteen posts, most candidates meeting basic qualifications like 8th, 10th, 12th pass or a relevant degree have a genuine chance.

Working under the National Health Mission also gives you exposure to public health programmes and government processes, which can be valuable if you plan to appear for permanent state health department recruitments later. Since the selection process is based purely on merit and does not involve any interview, candidates who are strong on paper get a fair and transparent chance without needing to prepare separately for a personal interview round.

Preparation Tips

  • Keep your mark sheets from 10th, 12th and your qualifying degree ready and verified before applying.
  • If your post requires council registration, ensure it is live and updated before submission.
  • Fill your online form carefully, since incomplete or incorrect information can lead to automatic rejection.
  • Print, sign and upload your final submitted application as instructed, or your form will be treated as incomplete.
  • Prepare basic computer knowledge and subject-related topics for the skill/written test relevant to your post.
  • Apply well before 31 July 2026 to avoid last-minute website traffic or technical issues.

Since experience marks matter significantly in the final merit calculation for many posts, keep your experience and appointment certificates organised and ready, especially if you have worked in a government or semi-government health facility.
