Who Can Apply

Ex-Servicemen of the Indian Air Force who held the rank of Junior Warrant Officer or above, completed at least 15 years of service, and retired on or before 01.08.2026 can apply. Serving personnel whose discharge is due within 3 months of the advertisement date can also apply with proof of medical category, character and probable discharge date.

Educational Qualification

• 3-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent (33 posts), or a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (3 posts) – pass class.
• Rank of JWO or above with 15 years of service in the Indian Air Force.

Salary

Along with basic pay, you get Dearness Allowance, HRA, perks at 35% of annual basic pay, medical reimbursement, group insurance, PF, gratuity and PRP as per company rules.

Tenure and Posting

The engagement runs for 15 years or until superannuation at 60, whichever is earlier, with a review every 5 years based on performance and project needs. Posting can be at any BEL project site across India, such as Ahmedabad, Delhi, Jodhpur, Bengaluru, Shillong, Lucknow, Port Blair, Ambala, Leh or Tezpur.

Selection Process

• Written test.
• Interview for candidates who qualify, in the ratio of 1:7 per category vacancy.
• Pre-employment medical examination and antecedent verification.
