Educational Qualification

The qualification is different for both posts.

Assistant Engineer – RE

Candidates should have a full-time regular Diploma in Engineering in any one of the following branches.

• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

• Instrumentation Engineering

The Diploma should be from a State Technical Board or an AICTE/UGC-recognized institute.

Candidates must also have minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in the power sector. Out of these, at least 6 years should be in 50 MW or above grid-connected Solar or Wind Projects in Operation & Maintenance or Asset Management.

Deputy General Manager – RE

Candidates should have a full-time B.E./B.Tech Degree with minimum 60% marks in one of the following branches.

• Control & Instrumentation
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

SC, ST and PwBD candidates need only passing marks.

Candidates must also have minimum 12 years of executive experience in the power sector. Out of this, 10 years should be with Renewable Energy Developers working in Solar or Wind Projects. Candidates should also have minimum 2 years of site experience in project construction, erection or commissioning of 50 MW or larger grid-connected renewable energy projects.

Age Limit

The age limit is different for both posts.

The age will be calculated as on the last date of online application.

Government age relaxation is available for reserved category candidates.
