All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur (Chhattisgarh), has released a recruitment notification (No.9/327/2026/Recruit./Reg./AIIMSRPR/2120), dated 6 August 2026, for the post of Senior Resident (Non-Academic) across 39 departments, under the Government of India Residency Scheme. Who Can Apply

Indian Nationals holding the requisite postgraduate medical qualification for the applied department, who have completed (or will complete) their qualifying degree on or before 31 August 2026, may apply.

Educational Qualification

• A Postgraduate Medical Degree — MD/MS/DNB/Diploma in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
• For School of Public Health: A postgraduate medical degree — MD/DNB in Community Medicine/PSM.
• For Dentistry: A Postgraduate Degree (MDS) in the concerned speciality.

Age Limit

Upper age limit: 45 years (as on the last date of receipt of application). Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD (General), 13 years for PwBD (OBC), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST). An additional 5-year relaxation applies for Ex-servicemen/Commissioned Officers, subject to conditions.

Salary

Rs.67,700/- (Level-11, Cell No.01 as per 7th CPC), plus usual allowances including Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA), where applicable.

Selection Process

Based on bio-data, the Search-cum-Selection Committee may shortlist candidates directly for interview, or a written/screening test may be conducted if a large number of applications are received. Final selection is based on the Interview, held at AIIMS Raipur. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview or written test.
