Eligibility Criteria

Nationality and Character

• Candidates must be Indian citizens or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders as per Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955.
• Should not have been convicted by any court of law.
• Must maintain high standards of discipline, conduct, and integrity.

Educational Qualification

• For Medical Faculty (Professor to Assistant Professor):
  Must possess a recognized medical qualification listed in the First or Second Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, along with a postgraduate qualification (MD/MS) in the relevant subject from a recognized university/institution.
• For super-specialty disciplines (D.M./M.Ch.), candidates must hold D.M. (for medical) or M.Ch. (for surgical) qualifications in the concerned subject.
• For Non-Medical Faculty (e.g. Pharmacology, Microbiology, Anatomy):
  • Master’s degree in the relevant discipline.
  • Ph.D. from a recognized university.
  • Prescribed teaching or research experience.
• DNB Qualification: DNB holders must submit proof of equivalence to MD/MS/DM/M.Ch. as per NMC norms. Additional experience may be required based on training institute.

Physical Standards

Reservation Policy
