About This Recruitment
The Vyavahar Nyayalaya, Khunti, part of Jharkhand’s district judiciary, is filling 7 support-staff posts across three categories that keep the court’s day-to-day functioning running – Anusevak/Adeshpal/Peon for general office support, Daftari for record-keeping, and Driver for vehicle operation. With Matriculation as the common minimum qualification requirement across all three posts, this recruitment is accessible to a wide pool of candidates in and around Khunti district, while the Driver post additionally requires a valid light motor vehicle driving licence.
Why the Application Process Is Entirely Offline and Handwritten
Unlike many recent government recruitments that have moved to online application portals, this Khunti court recruitment continues to follow a traditional, entirely offline process, requiring candidates to self-handwrite their application in Hindi and mail it by Registered or Speed Post. This is a common pattern at the district judiciary level in several states, where recruitment for support staff posts is still managed directly by the court administration rather than through a centralized online recruitment board, making careful attention to formatting, enclosures and postal deadlines especially important for applicants.
Preparing the Application Correctly
Since the notice requires Format-A to be filled only in Hindi and in the candidate’s own handwriting, candidates should practice writing it neatly before submitting the final copy, as illegible handwriting or missing self-attestation could risk rejection. Equally, since the outer envelope must display the advertisement number, applied post, and category in large, clear letters, candidates should double-check this detail before posting, since a wrongly labelled envelope could lead to processing delays given the recruitment is not tracked through any online reference number.
How the Three Posts Differ in Day-to-Day Duties
Although Anusevak/Adeshpal/Peon, Daftari and Driver share the same Matriculation-level entry qualification for two of the three posts, their actual court duties are quite different. The Anusevak/Adeshpal/Peon posts, with 5 of the 7 total vacancies, mainly involve general office assistance and errand duties around the court premises; the Daftari post is more focused on maintaining and organizing court records and files; and the Driver post, carrying a slightly higher pay level, involves operating and maintaining official vehicles for the court, which is why it is the only post here that requires a specific driving licence in addition to the educational qualification.
Reservation Position in This Notice
Of the 7 posts advertised, 5 fall under the General category and 2 are reserved for the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, both within the Anusevak/Adeshpal/Peon post; no vacancies are currently shown against SC, Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class or EWS categories in this particular notice. Candidates should still refer to the detailed category-wise breakup in the notification and apply under their correct category, since claiming reservation benefits requires a valid caste certificate issued by a competent authority to be enclosed with the application.
