Candidates meeting the department-specific essential qualification, with relevant NET/GATE credentials or research/project experience where applicable, can attend the walk-in interview.

Educational Qualification

• General JRF Route: Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) and GATE, or through national examinations conducted by Central Government departments/agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, or NISER.
• Project Associate Route (if JRF route not met): B.Tech/M.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline (EEE/EE/ECE/ETC/IT/CS/Instrumentation Engineering for Electrical & Electronics; Civil Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5/60% and valid GATE/NET score for Civil), with or without GATE qualification, or an equivalent M.Sc. with or without NET.
