From a job seeker’s perspective, this recruitment is likely to attract significant attention because it combines three highly desirable factors: a large number of vacancies, accounting-related posts and government job security. Commerce graduates often have limited state-level recruitment opportunities specifically designed for their academic background. This notification directly addresses that gap.
Another reason why this recruitment is important is the distribution of vacancies across multiple departments. Candidates who perform well in the examination may get opportunities to work in audit directorates, housing boards, municipal departments, development authorities and educational institutions. Such exposure can provide valuable experience in government financial administration.
Competition is expected to be high because only PET-2025 qualified candidates can participate. However, candidates with strong fundamentals in accountancy, auditing and computer applications have a realistic chance of securing a position if they prepare systematically.
SALARY DETAILS
Career Growth
Selected candidates may receive promotions to senior accounting, auditing and administrative positions depending on departmental rules and service performance.

The examination is expected to be moderately competitive because most questions will come from subjects directly related to commerce and accounting. Candidates who already possess academic knowledge of accountancy will have an advantage over general graduates.
A practical preparation strategy should focus on strengthening accounting fundamentals before moving to advanced topics. Since 65% of the paper comes from accounting and auditing-related subjects, candidates should allocate most of their preparation time to these areas.
Candidates should also not ignore the Uttar Pradesh General Knowledge section. Even though it carries fewer marks than accounting, it can become a deciding factor in the final merit list when candidates have similar scores.
