Why This Recruitment Matters

The SI (Communication) posts are technical roles responsible for maintaining and operating the Andhra Pradesh Police Department’s wireless and communication infrastructure, making them a valuable opportunity for candidates with Electronics/Communication engineering backgrounds to combine technical expertise with a police service career. The SI (PTO) posts, meanwhile, support the department’s transport and logistics operations, an essential but often overlooked wing of police administration.

A Niche Technical Entry Point into AP Police

Unlike the general Civil SI recruitment which draws from any degree background, this notification specifically targets candidates with Electronics, Communication, or IT-related qualifications, making it a distinctive opportunity for engineering graduates who want to serve in law enforcement while applying their technical specialization directly to police communication systems.
