Why You Should Apply for This Post

Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics is a premier DAE research institute, offering a stable Central Government service career across a wide spectrum of roles, from advanced research support (Scientist ‘C’) to skilled trade and support positions. With 62 vacancies spread across 8 broad post categories, candidates with qualifications ranging from 10th pass with a trade diploma to a Master’s degree in Physics can find a suitable opportunity in this single recruitment drive.

Preparation Tips

Since most technical and trade posts (Scientific Assistant, Technician, Security Guard, Halwai-cum-Cook) require clearing a qualifying written test before a trade/skill/physical test decides the final merit, candidates should prioritize hands-on practice in their trade alongside basic written test preparation. For Lower Division Clerk and Work Assistant posts, candidates should focus on general awareness, reasoning, basic computer knowledge, and, for LDC specifically, typing speed practice, since a 35 wpm English typing speed is a desirable requirement.

General Instructions

  • The Institute reserves the right to fill up or not fill up any of the posts advertised.
  • Candidates employed in Government/Quasi-Government/Autonomous Institutions/PSUs must apply through proper channel, with a forwarding letter indicating Vigilance Clearance.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
  • No interim queries regarding selection, test, or interview will be entertained; all correspondence will be through email and/or post.
  • Any amendment or modification to this notification will be posted only on the official SINP website.
  • The Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay.
