• Non-PG candidates with 2 years of experience in the concerned specialty may also be allowed to appear in specialties with perpetual shortage, but will be selected on ad-hoc basis only.
• OBC certificates must be issued from the Government of NCT of Delhi only; OBC and EWS candidates must hold a valid certificate for the current financial year.

Tenure and Pay

• The total tenure of Senior Resident is 3 years, including any prior service rendered as Senior Resident on Ad-hoc/regular basis.
• The initial appointment will be for 89 days or till a regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier, extendable up to a maximum of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance and a written request.
• Appointments from the relaxed/second merit list will be for 1 year only, and will not be renewable after that year.
• Pay Scale: 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level 11 (Rs 67,700 – 2,08,700) plus allowances as admissible under the rules.
