Eligibility Criteria

Nationality and Character

Candidates must be citizens of India. Applicants must submit a clean record declaration stating that they have not been involved in any criminal or police cases.

Educational Qualification

• Laboratory Assistant (Biology): Essential qualification is Intermediate Science or equivalent in the subject (Biology). Desirable qualification includes higher qualification and good communication skills.

• PEM/PTI-cum-Matron (Female only): Essential qualification is a 4-year integrated course / Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education / Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports offered by an NCTE recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks OR Graduation from a recognized university and B.P.Ed with at least 50% marks in Graduation and B.P.Ed separately. Desirable qualification includes State/National sports representation, working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bharatiya Bhasha, school experience, and a Diploma from NIS.

• Band Master / Music Teacher: For Band Master, Potential Band Master / Band Major / Drum Major Course at AEC Training College and Centre Pachmarhi or equivalent Naval/Air Force courses. For Music Teacher, Higher Secondary with a degree or diploma in music from a recognized institution. Desirable qualification includes residential school experience and communication skills.

• Ward Boy (छात्रावास सहायक): Essential qualification is Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent and ability to converse in English. Desirable qualification includes 2 years of experience in the field, knowledge of computer applications, and good communication skills.

Physical Standards

Candidates must be medically fit to work in a residential military school environment. For the Ward Boy post, candidates must undergo a physical running/shuttle proficiency test.

Gender Restrictions

The post of PEM/PTI-cum-Matron is strictly reserved for Female candidates only.

   • Skill / Proficiency Test (50 Marks): Running/Shuttle test (10 marks), Games duty test/bed setting/first aid (30 marks), and Child Psychology/POCSO Act knowledge (10 marks).
