Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Senior Manager (Mech.), Bulk Material Handling Expert

• Full time Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology, or in Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, Railways, Mechatronics or Automobile Engineering.
• Marks: first class or 60% for UR and EWS. 50% for reserved categories.
• Experience: at least 6 years in designing and optimising bulk material handling systems.
• Knowledge of conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, ship loaders, silos and wagon tipplers.
• Age: maximum 40 years as on 2 November 2026.
• Relaxation: SC and ST 5 years, OBC (NCL) 3 years, PwBD 10 years extra.

Selection Process

1. Written test of 125 objective questions, one mark each, in 2.5 hours.
2. There is no negative marking.
3. Minimum marks in the written test: 50% for UR and EWS, 45% for others.
4. Candidates are called for interview in the ratio of 1:6.
5. Final marks: written test 60% and interview 40%.
6. Minimum interview marks: 60% for UR and EWS, 50% for others.
