• Sr. Manager (Ports & Waterways) – RG/26-R1/25: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering AND Master’s Degree in Marine Engineering & Management / Ocean Structures or Engineering / Structural Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years’ professional experience in structural and marine engineering design, including 5 years hands-on experience in design/analysis/detailing of marine and coastal structures (quay walls, jetties, dolphins, breakwaters, berthing structures, dry docks, slipways, ship lifts).
• Assistant Manager (Ports & Waterways) – RG/27-R1/25: Same educational qualification as above, with minimum 2 years’ experience in design/analysis of marine structures (jetties, dolphins, quay walls, breakwaters).
• Assistant Manager (Coastal Modelling) – RG/28-R1/25: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering AND Master’s Degree in Coastal Engineering / Marine Engineering & Management / Ocean Structures or Engineering, with minimum 2 years’ professional experience in coastal/ocean engineering-related projects or numerical modelling of coastal processes.
• Candidates from Central/State Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Organizations must meet specific pay-scale residency conditions (2 years in the IDA scale of Rs 50,000-1,60,000 or equivalent CDA scale).
• Candidates from the private sector must have a total experience of 8 years and an annual CTC of at least Rs 20.16 LPA on the last date of application.
• UR/EWS candidates need a first-class degree/minimum 60% marks; SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates need at least 50% marks for reserved posts.

Selection Process

• Written Test: 125 objective-type questions, 2.5 hours duration, 1 mark each, no negative marking. Minimum 50% marks required for UR/EWS (45% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD).
• Document Scrutiny: Based on written test results and vacancy numbers, shortlisted candidates’ documents are scrutinized before being called for interview.
• Interview: Candidates called in a ratio of 1:6 to the number of vacancies. Weightage: Written Test 60%, Interview 40% (Technical & Professional Proficiency 30%, Personality/Communication/Competency 10%). Minimum 60% marks required in interview for UR/EWS (50% for reserved categories).
• Candidates can appear for the selection process in either Hindi or English.
