Who Can Apply

Specialist doctors (MD/DNB) with valid medical council registration and health inspection professionals with the required experience can apply.

Educational Qualification

• Visiting Medical Consultant (Gynaecology & Obstetrics): MD/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from a Government-recognised institute/hospital/organisation affiliated with the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council, with valid registration. At least 1 year’s experience in a Government hospital/organisation or a reputed, recognised private hospital is mandatory.
• Visiting Medical Consultant (Paediatrician): MD/DNB in Paediatrics with valid medical council registration. At least 1 year’s experience in a Government hospital/organisation or a reputed private hospital is mandatory.
• Visiting Health Inspector: Diploma/Certificate in Health Inspector/Sanitary Inspector/Public Health from a recognised institution, plus at least 5 years’ experience in health inspection, sanitation, hygiene and public-health activities, especially in educational institutions, hostels, hospitals or large residential establishments. Desirable: knowledge of FSSAI guidelines, Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocols and drinking water quality testing.
