Salary

The remuneration is fixed throughout the 3-year contract period, based on duty hours actually performed, and is all-inclusive. MBBS doctors with up to 20 years of experience earn Rs 1,400 per hour; MBBS doctors with more than 20 years of experience, and MD doctors, earn Rs 1,800 per hour. Duty hours are 2 hours per day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, during Bank’s working hours. Of the total monthly remuneration, Rs 1,000/month is treated as conveyance expenses, and mobile charges of Rs 1,000/month are reimbursed on a pro-rata basis. The Bank reserves the right to review the remuneration rate and alter duty hours/location as required.

Selection Process

RBI Itanagar will conduct an interview to select the one Bank’s Medical Consultant on contract basis. The Bank reserves the right to raise minimum eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates called for interview, and its decision on this is final. Shortlisted applicants must undergo medical tests as per prescribed norms before engagement – the cost of these tests is borne by the applicant. The selected candidate must be found medically fit, accept the Terms and Conditions and Code of Conduct, and enter into a formal agreement with the Bank before starting work.
