Who Can Apply

Eligibility Conditions

Head Cook

• Female (for Girls’ Hostel)
• Must stay in the hostel 24×7
• Age: 30-40 years as on the date of advertisement
• Trained candidates in cookery will be given preference and due weightage
• Must be perfectly hygienic in dress, cooking habits, and food handling; well conversant with using LPG

Assistant Cook

• Female (for Girls’ Hostel)
• Must stay in the hostel 24×7
• Age: 21-32 years as on the date of advertisement
• Maximum 2 Assistant Cooks can be engaged per hostel
• Experience in cooking preferred, with the same hygiene standards as Head Cook

Selection Process

Original documents will be verified by a sub-committee at the time of interview. Candidates for Head Cook and Assistant Cook posts will be selected purely through a practical cooking test (100 marks). As part of the evaluation, the committee will conduct a physical cooking test of select items and assess the deliciousness, hygiene, and timing of food preparation.
