Nurses, ANMs, data managers, counsellors and rehabilitation workers in Jharkhand have a fresh NHM opening in Simdega district. The District Health Society, Simdega, has released Advertisement No. 01/NHM/2026 for 18 contract posts, including backlog vacancies, under the National Health Mission. Who Can Apply

Candidates with the post-wise qualification below can apply. The Jharkhand local residency policy applies, and Jharkhand residents get priority. Since Simdega has zero reservation for BC-I and BC-II posts, candidates from those groups may apply under EWS with a certificate from the SDO/Circle Officer.

Educational Qualification

• Staff Nurse (RCH / NBSU): 10+2 with 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), and registration with Jharkhand Nursing Council.
• District PPM Coordinator (NTEP): Postgraduate in any discipline with 1 year’s experience in communication/ACSM/Public-Private Partnership/health programmes, and a permanent two-wheeler licence. Preference: RNTCP experience; qualification in social science/mass media/communication/rural development; basic computer knowledge.
• ANM (RCH): 10+2 with an INC-approved ANM course, and registration with Jharkhand Nursing Council.
• Block Data Manager (RCH): Graduate with 1-year computer diploma/PGDCA/DOEACC ‘O’ level, or BCA/B.Sc. (IT/CS), with 2 years’ relevant experience and fluency in the local language.
• ARSH Counselor: PG in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development, or Diploma in Nursing with 1 year’s adolescent work experience; MS Office knowledge. Block-level post.
• Sanitary Attendant (NPHCE): 10th/12th pass with at least 2 years’ hospital experience.
• Rehabilitation Worker (NPHCE): 10+2 with a 1.5-year certificate course in Multi Rehabilitation Worker or Community Based Rehabilitation Worker, registered with RCI, and 1 year’s hospital experience.

Age is calculated as on 31.08.2026.

Application Fee

Pay by Demand Draft in favour of “District Rural Health Society, Simdega-RCH”, payable at Simdega, and attach it to the application. A separate application (and fee) is required for each post.

Selection Process

• Points out of 100: 10th marks 10, 12th marks 10, Essential Qualification 40, Relevant Higher Qualification 25, Interview/Written Test 15 (all pro-rata, e.g. 60% marks = 6 of 10 points).
• Selection may involve a written exam/skill test/interview, based on marks obtained.
• District-level reservation roster applies.
• A two-part list is published on simdega.nic.in – Part A (selected) and Part B (waiting list, valid 1 year).
• Selected candidates must give an affidavit of no criminal conviction and a health certificate from a Civil Surgeon at joining.
• Certificates are verified within 3 months; false documents lead to immediate cancellation and legal action.
