About This Recruitment

This walk-in drive covers a wide range of medical posts across District Hospital, Sub-district Hospital, Rural Hospitals, Women’s Hospital, Urban Health Centres and Urban Primary Health Centres in Dharashiv district. It is conducted under the National Health Mission and, for some posts, the 15th Finance Commission scheme, which funds Urban Health Centres and similar facilities. This kind of recruitment allows the district health administration to fill urgent vacancies in specialist and general medical posts quickly, through a single-day interview process, rather than a longer selection cycle.

Documents to Bring

Candidates should bring all educational mark sheets and certificates from Class 10 onwards, degree and post-graduate certificates for the post applied for, MBBS/BAMS registration certificate and, where applicable, additional post-graduate registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council, proof of work experience, category certificate if claiming reservation, EWS certificate valid for 2025-26 if applicable, and proof of small family (2 or fewer children) where required. Since documents are checked on the same day as the interview, candidates should organise these in advance and carry both originals and photocopies.

Points to Note for Retired and Currently Serving Government Employees

Doctors who have retired, or taken voluntary retirement, from Government service can also apply for these posts. They must give full details in the application about their date of joining Government service, tenure, post held, place of posting, year of retirement, and the pension and salary details applicable after retirement. Doctors currently working under NHM who wish to move to another post within NHM do not face an age bar, but they must carry a certificate signed by their current Head of Office at the time of document scrutiny.
