Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Education

• ✓A certificate in the trade from a recognised technical institute.
• ✓Or a Class 8 pass with 1 year of experience in the trade.

MV Mechanic

• ✓A valid heavy motor vehicle driving licence is a must.

Age relaxation

• ✓5 years for SC and ST, and 3 years for OBC (NCL).
• ✓Central Government staff up to 40 years, as per the rules.
• ✓Ex-servicemen get the military service period plus 3 years.

Salary Details

Selection Process

1. 1A competitive trade test on the syllabus of the trade.
2. 2The syllabus, date and venue are sent with the hall permit.
3. 3Having only the minimum qualification gives no right to a trade test.

Documents Required

• ✓Age proof such as the birth or Class 10 certificate.
• ✓Self attested copies of the trade and education certificates.
• ✓Caste and ex-servicemen certificates.
• ✓A copy of the HMV licence for the MV Mechanic.
