Age Limit

As per UGC Regulations regarding the appointment of Assistant Professors. Teachers who have retired from Colleges/Universities will also be considered, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall be 70 years as on 1 January 2026.

Salary/Remuneration

Consolidated pay of Rs.40,000/- per month.

General Conditions

• The engagement is for the academic year 2026-2027 (till 15 April 2027) only.
• Reservation rotation is specified against the vacancies in the table above.
• Candidates under the community reservation quota must submit a Community Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the concerned authorities.
• Candidates belonging to the Differently Abled Category/EWS reservation must enclose the relevant certificate (as per State Govt. criteria) issued by the Competent Authority along with the application.
• Natives of states other than Kerala need not apply for posts notified exclusively under the community reservation quota.
• Candidates who obtained a Degree/PhD from Universities/Institutions outside Kerala must submit an equivalency/eligibility certificate obtained from Mahatma Gandhi University.
• Selected candidates must execute an agreement with the University as per existing norms.
