Lok Nayak Hospital Delhi Senior Resident Walk-in 2026: 64 Posts, Interview on 2nd and Last Tuesday

Lok Nayak Hospital (LNH), New Delhi, under the Government of NCT of Delhi, holds walk-in interviews for Senior Residents on ad-hoc basis (initially 44 days) on the 2nd Tuesday and last Tuesday of every month at 10:30 AM (Notice F.No.17773 (Part-I)/SR interview/E-I/LNH/2026/2362, dated 28/09/2026). There are 64 vacant SR posts in 15 departments. Pay is Level-11 (Rs 67,700 – 2,08,700) plus allowances. There is no fee.

Vacancies are subject to change. The vacancy position is uploaded on the LNH website and AMS(A) notice board in the 1st and 3rd week of every month – check it before going.

Who Can Apply

Eligible Indian nationals with MBBS and a PG degree / DNB / diploma or post-doctoral degree in the concerned specialty, aged up to 45 years as on 01.07.2026, can attend.

Educational Qualification

• MBBS with Post Graduate Degree / DNB / Diploma or Post Doctoral Degree (or equivalent) in the concerned specialty from an NMC/MCI recognised university/institute. The course and result must be complete before the interview date.
• DMC registration for the specialty is preferred. Candidates with DMC registration (with PG) or DMC acknowledgement may appear provisionally; they must give the DMC certificate within one month of joining.
• Candidates without PG may be taken as Non-PG SR for 44 days or until PG candidates join, whichever is earlier.
• For Neurosurgery, MCh Neurosurgery / DNB / MS (General Surgery) candidates may be allowed.
• In specialties with shortage, candidates who completed 3 years of Senior Residency may also appear; a separate merit list will be made, and their appointment will be for a maximum of one year.

Salary

7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-11 (Rs 67,700 – 2,08,700) plus other admissible allowances.

Tenure and Conditions

• Initially 44 days (maximum 3 years including earlier SR service), or until regular SR joins, as per the Residency Scheme.
• No NOC will be issued before 44 days of continuous service.
• No leave for conferences / workshops of more than 3 days.
• Selected candidates must join within 10 days of the offer letter.

Selection Process

• Interview only. A rank list will be made, valid till the next interview notice. No waiting list.
• If applications are many, the interview may continue on the next working day.

• Originals and self-attested copies of MBBS Degree, PG Degree, DMC registration certificate (or acknowledgement for PG)
• Caste certificate and proof of awards/publications (if applicable)
• Identity proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Passport etc.)
• NOC from present employer

3. Submit it in the E-I Branch as per the interview schedule, and attend the interview at 10:30 AM at the Conference Hall, Medical Director, LNH.
