Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Marketing Expert

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or communications. Or any graduate with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Or MBA (Marketing) with 2 years of experience, preferably in small scale and village industry or handicraft.
• Age: maximum 40 years.
• Good writing and communication skills, and fluency in the local language.

Banking Expert (retired or ex bank officials)

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Experience: 15 years in banking, with at least 3 years as a Branch Manager.
• Knowledge of project report preparation and appraisal.
• Age: maximum 65 years.

Technical Expert

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Experience in village industries, MSME, handicrafts or cottage industries.
• Retired officials of KVIC, KVIB, DIC, MSME DI, NSIC or Coir Board, not below Assistant Director, also qualify.
• Age: maximum 65 years.
• Knowledge of machinery, raw material and the PMEGP scheme.

Selection Process

1. The Commission shortlists candidates from the applications.
2. Shortlisted candidates are informed by e-mail or telephone about the date and venue.
3. Selection depends on the interview.
4. KVIC can accept or reject any application without giving a reason.
