Who Can Apply

Candidates who meet the KVS-prescribed qualification for the post and subject they want, and who have registered on the KVS Samvida Sathi portal before the interview day, can walk in. Educational Qualification

• PGT (Hindi, English, Physics): Post Graduate Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject, plus B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
• PGT (Computer Science): M.Sc. Computer Science/IT or MCA with at least 50% marks, or M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science/IT with at least 50% marks, along with the prescribed B.Ed./integrated qualification as applicable.
• TGT (Sanskrit): Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject, having studied the subject in all three years of graduation, plus B.Ed. CTET-qualified candidates get preference.
• TGT (Social Science): Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate, with any two of Geography, Economics, History and Political Science, plus B.Ed. CTET-qualified candidates get preference.
• PRT: JBT/D.Ed./PTC of 2 years’ duration with Senior Secondary (+2) and at least 50% marks. CTET-qualified candidates get preference.
• PRT – Special Educator: XII pass with a 2-year D.Ed. Special Education or 1-year Diploma in Special Education, or other RCI-recognized qualifications such as a Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation, Multi Rehabilitation Worker, Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf, or Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (with prescribed certificate courses).
• Computer Instructor: At least 50% marks in one of the prescribed pathways, including B.E./B.Tech. (CS/IT), B.E./B.Tech. (any stream) with PG Diploma in Computers, M.Sc. CS/MCA, B.Sc. CS/BCA with a postgraduate qualification, PG Diploma in Computer with a PG degree, DOEACC ‘B’ Level with a PG degree, or DOEACC ‘C’ Level with graduation.
• Vocational Instructor: B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation and Control, or an associated AICTE-approved branch relevant to the skill sector, with at least 1 year of experience (lab setups, tinkering kits, industrial skill training, etc.).
• Educational Counsellor: B.A./B.Sc. in Psychology with a certificate/diploma in counselling. One year of school counselling experience, placement bureau experience, or RCI registration as a Vocational Counsellor is desirable.
• Art Instructor: Bachelor’s degree in Drawing and Painting, Sculpture, Graphic Art or Fine Arts, or an equivalent 4/5-year diploma in Fine Arts, with the ability to teach in both Hindi and English.
