Educational Qualification

• Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from NCVT/SCVT-recognized institutions in trades such as Armature and Coil Winder, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Filter, Heat Engine, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Mechanic Diesel, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Millwright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & TV, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Mechanic, Tractor Mechanic, Turner, or Wireman.
• OR Matriculation/SSLC plus a completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades listed above.
• OR HSC/12th (10+2) Science pass in regular schooling.
• OR a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering (or a combination of these disciplines) from a recognized institution, in lieu of ITI.
• OR a Degree in the above engineering disciplines, acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.
• Candidates must already be holding the post of ALP/Sr. ALP in the regular cadre of Indian Railways.

Salary (Pay Scale)
