Note: Male Social Worker and Outreach Worker posts are for men only. The female posts are for women only.

Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

District Child Protection Officer

• Post graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Child Development, Law, Psychology or a related subject.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Protection Officers

• Post graduate degree in the same subjects, or a degree with experience.
• A degree holder needs 2 years of project work experience.

Legal cum Probation Officer

• LL.B. from a recognised university.
• At least 2 years of work, preferably on the rights of women and children.

Counsellor

• Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health or Counselling.
• Or a post graduate diploma in Counselling. At least 1 year of experience.

Social Worker and Data Analyst

• Social Worker: any degree, preferably in Social Work or Sociology.
• Data Analyst: degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or BCA.

Accountant

• Degree in Commerce or Mathematics.
• At least 1 year in accounts, with Tally skills.

Assistant cum Data Entry Operator and Outreach Worker

• Class XII pass from a recognised board.
• The Assistant also needs a computer diploma or certificate.

Age limit

• 21 to 35 years on 1 October 2026.
• Five years relaxation for SC, ST and Backward Classes.

Salary Details

Selection Process

1. Written exam for posts 1 to 9: 200 objective questions, 90 minutes, in English.
2. Written exam for posts 10 to 12: 100 questions, 60 minutes, in English and Telugu.
3. Each wrong answer costs one fourth of a mark.
4. Oral test of 25 marks on the same day.
5. Two marks per year of paid experience are added for some posts, up to 10 marks.
6. Local Jangaon candidates are selected first.

Documents Required

• Application form in Annexure I.
• Self-attested copies of all certificates.
• Experience proof showing post, joining date and relieving date.
• Two passport size photographs.
• Original certificates on the exam day.

How to Apply: Step by Step

1. Download the notification and form from jangaon.telangana.gov.in.
2. Fill the form for one post only.
3. Attach self-attested copies and two photographs.
4. Hand it over at the Inward Section, Collectorate, Jangaon, from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
5. Post applications must reach by 5:00 PM on 15 October 2026.
6. Collect the hall ticket at the counter.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Apply for one post only.
• Report by 9:00 AM on 16 October. Entry closes at 9:45 AM.
• Bring the hall ticket, an original ID and a blue or black pen.
• Mobile phones and calculators are not allowed.
• Stay until the result is shown at 2:00 PM.
• No travelling allowance is paid.
