Why This ISRO Recruitment Is a Prime Opportunity

ISRO Propulsion Complex plays a critical role in India’s space programme — from Assembly, Integration & Testing of engines and stages to production of propellants for launch vehicles and satellites. A position here, even at the Technician or Technical Assistant level, places candidates at the heart of India’s space technology ecosystem, offering long-term career stability, structured pay progression under the Central Government pay matrix, and the prestige of being part of ISRO’s technical workforce.

Understanding the Trade-wise Requirements

Unlike many ITI-level recruitments that accept a broad range of trades, IPRC has specified exact trade requirements per post code — Turner, Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Refrigeration & AC, and Electrician — each mapped to a specific NCVT-recognized NTC or NAC certification. Candidates should ensure their ITI trade certificate exactly matches the post code they are applying for, since cross-trade applications are unlikely to be considered eligible.

Final Word

With 22 posts across Technical Assistant, Technician, Cook, and Fireman categories, this ISRO IPRC recruitment offers a rare entry point into India’s space research establishment for ITI and Diploma holders.
