Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), a Government of India undertaking, has released a recruitment notification for 291 Generalist and Specialist Officer posts in various scales.

Salary / Pay Scale
IOB has prescribed the following pay scales:

Application Fee
The application fee is different for different categories.
The fee includes GST and is non-refundable. Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, BHIM or UPI.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on:
Online Examination → Interview → Final Merit
The final merit list will give 80% weightage to the Online Examination and 20% to the Interview.
The Bank may conduct preliminary screening or shortlisting before calling candidates for the examination and interview.
Online Examination Pattern
For Manager – Branch Management, the examination will have 100 questions for 100 marks.

The total examination time is 2 hours. There is 1/4th negative marking for every wrong answer. The General Awareness and English sections do not have separate minimum qualifying marks, but candidates must meet the prescribed minimum marks in Professional Knowledge.
