Note: The EECS tenure is six months at first. The Biology tenure is one year at first. Please check each official notice.

Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

IPDF in EECS

• Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Focus on materials research for electronic devices.
• Research areas: DFT, condensed matter, quantum transport and device simulation.
• Desirable: Python, MATLAB, Fortran or C skills, and good publications.

IPDF in Biological Sciences

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences or a related area.
• At least one first-author research paper.
• Hands-on molecular and cell biology experience.
• Desirable: ChIP-seq, CUT&RUN, RNA-seq, CRISPR and NGS data analysis in R or Python.

Common rules

• Ph.D. scholars who submitted the thesis can apply.
• They must give the degree within six months of joining.
• Preference for candidates below 35 years on the last date.
• IISER Bhopal Ph.D. holders cannot apply for the EECS post.
