Eligibility
- ✓Indian citizen.
- ✓As listed in the notice: MS/DNB in General Surgery; M.Ch/DNB in CTVS; a medical qualification as included in Schedules I & II of MCI; registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
- ✓Age up to 45 years as on 07.10.2026. Relaxation as per Bihar Government rules: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for EBC/BC, and 3 years for women of all categories (as printed).
- ✓Candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency are not eligible.

- ✓Serving candidates must bring a No Objection Certificate, or give in writing that they are neither employed nor doing any course.
- ✓SC/ST candidates must attach a caste certificate from the Circle Officer of Bihar; EBC (MBC)/BC candidates need a caste certificate plus a non-creamy layer certificate.
- ✓The post is non-practising. Private practice, direct or indirect, is strictly prohibited and will lead to termination.
- ✓Stay in campus is compulsory; HRA is admissible if accommodation is not provided.
- ✓No TA/DA. Canvassing disqualifies you.
