Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Senior Research Fellow (age 21 to 35 years)

• Master’s degree in Vegetable Science, Horticulture, Genetics and Plant Breeding or Plant Biotechnology, after a 4 or 5 year Bachelor’s.
• Those with 3 year Bachelor’s and 2 year Master’s need NET and 2 years of research experience.
• Desirable: experience in crop experiments, data recording and basic statistics for DUS testing.

Young Professional-I (age 21 to 45 years)

• Graduate with at least 60% marks in Agriculture Science, Engineering or Technology.
• One post prefers lab experience in PCR, genomics and molecular markers.
• The other prefers experience in plant growth and yield experiments and basic statistics.

Age relaxation

• SRF: 5 years for SC, ST and women, and 3 years for OBC.
• Young Professionals: relaxation as per rules.
