Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Assistant Professor (GI Surgery, Super-Speciality)

• A medical qualification recognised under the Indian Medical Council Act, now the National Medical Commission Act, 2025.
• Post-graduate and post-doctoral degree in the super-speciality, such as M.Ch. in Surgical Gastro-Enterology.
• Experience: at least 3 years of teaching as Lecturer, Registrar, Demonstrator or Resident in a recognised medical college.
• Age: up to 45 years as on 1 January 2026.
• Relaxation of 5 years applies to HP SC, ST, OBC, WFF and PwD candidates, only if the post is reserved.
• Desirable: knowledge of Himachal customs and dialects, and research papers in indexed journals.
