Educational Qualification and Experience

• Qualification: Full-time regular Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Production / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Metallurgy Engineering with good academic record. MBA from a reputed institute is desirable.
• Experience: Minimum 20 years, of which 10 years at Senior / Middle Management level in Industrial products / Machine Tools; wide knowledge of machine tool makers and users preferred; conversant with technical and commercial aspects; experience in productivity measurement and workforce optimisation; experience in overseeing entire operations.
• Domain: Machine Tools Industry / Engineering Industry.
• Desirable: Work in multiple functions (Production, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Services, HR, Finance, Administration); senior management experience in PSUs / autonomous bodies.

Job Description

Day-to-day operations and general management of the allotted unit; setting operational objectives; running production, quality control, logistics and customer service; analysing operational data; managing budgets; supplier and customer relations; safety and quality programmes; supporting top management reviews; creating upgraded technical products; leading business verticals; project portfolio planning and tracking; tendering; and erection & commissioning of machines.

Age Limit

Less than 63 years as on 01.09.2026. Tenure is limited to 4 years or age 65, whichever is earlier. The management may relax age and experience for exceptional candidates.

Selection Process
