Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit
Education
- ✓A Master degree in Chemistry from a recognised university.
- ✓Or a degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agriculture Science, Veterinary Science, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology or Medicine.
- ✓Basic computer knowledge as per the Gujarat rules.
- ✓A candidate with a financial interest in the food trade cannot be appointed.
Age relaxation
- ✓5 years for women in the general category, and for reserved category men, up to 42 years.
- ✓10 years for reserved category women, up to 45 years.
- ✓Up to 45 years for disabled candidates.
- ✓Ex-servicemen get their service period plus 3 years.
