Under the Family Courts Act, Counsellors play a crucial mediatory role in resolving matrimonial and family disputes before they proceed to formal litigation, and this recruitment strengthens the counselling capacity at Family Court, Prayagraj, one of Uttar Pradesh’s key judicial centres, ahead of anticipated caseloads.
The Role of a Family Court Counsellor

Candidates with a background in Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work bring the interpersonal and case-assessment skills needed to support the Family Court’s mandate of resolving disputes with sensitivity rather than pure adversarial litigation.
