What Is Re-checking and Re-addition?

Many students think re-checking means the examiner will evaluate the answer sheet again – that is not true. During re-checking, CHSE mainly verifies:

• Whether all answers have been evaluated
• Whether marks have been added correctly
• Whether marks entered in the mark statement are correct
• Whether any answer or page was left unchecked

Re-evaluation of answers is not allowed. Marks will not be increased simply because a student feels they deserve more.

Application Fee

Students have to pay Rs.200 per paper. Theory and Practical papers are treated separately. In the Science stream, Biology-I (Botany) and Biology-II (Zoology) are considered one paper for this purpose.

Before You Apply

Step-by-Step Application Process

1. Visit SBI Collect: Open the SBI online payment portal.
2. Select State: Choose Odisha.

3. Students must collect the scanned answer script and score sheet from their school or college.

No hard copy will be provided by CHSE.

What to Check After Receiving the Answer Script

• Every page has been evaluated
• No answer is left unchecked
• Marks are added correctly
• Marks entered in the score sheet match the answer script

If everything looks correct, no further action is required. If you find any issue, immediately inform your Principal or Headmaster and submit the prescribed complaint form before the deadline (30 June 2026).
