Normalization

If the CBT is held in more than one shift, results will be prepared using normalization, because the difficulty of papers can differ between shifts. Pass or fail will be decided on the normalized score, not the raw score. For example, a General candidate with a raw score of 76 and a normalized score of 74.90 will fail, because the pass mark is 75 (50% of 150). There is no negative marking, but many wrong answers can pull down the normalized score.
