Selection Process

The selection process is different according to the post.

Record Assistant

• Written Test – 55 marks
• Computer Practical Test – 20 marks
• Interview – 25 marks
• Total – 100 marks

The written test is of 60 minutes and is based on the Andhra Pradesh SSC/10th Class standard. It covers Telugu, English, General Knowledge, Mathematics and Social Studies.

The Computer Practical Test is for 30 minutes and covers practical knowledge of MS Office.

Office Subordinate

• Written Test – 75 marks
• Interview – 25 marks
• Total – 100 marks

The written test is of 90 minutes and follows the Andhra Pradesh SSC/10th Class standard. Subjects are Telugu, English, General Knowledge, Mathematics and Social Studies.

Cook, Dhobi, Barber, Sweeper and Scavenger

For these posts, the selection consists of:

• Read & Write Test – 15 marks
• Skill Test – 60 marks
• Interview – 25 marks
• Total – 100 marks

The Read & Write Test is designed to check the candidate’s ability to read and write simple Telugu and understand basic instructions.

The Skill Test checks practical ability related to the respective job.

For example, the Cook Skill Test includes food preparation, taste and quality, cooking methods, hygiene and use of kitchen equipment.

Important Selection Conditions

Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:5 against the number of vacancies, based on merit in the written examination/skill test. However, the Selection Committee can increase or decrease this ratio if necessary.

The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in the prescribed selection process.
