Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit

Who can join

• Ex-servicemen (pension holders only) and ex-women employees of MoEF&CC and State Forest Departments.
• Premature retirees are eligible.
• They must be enrolled within 5 years of retirement.

Qualification

• At least 20 years of service in the forest department or armed force, as stated in the notice.

Physical standard

• Height 160 cm (152 cm for Gorkha, Garhwali and Assamese). Women 150 cm.
• Weight 50 kg for men and 42 kg for women.
• Chest 82 cm with 5 cm expansion for men.

Medical

• Medical category SHAPE-1.

Salary Details

Selection Process

1. Physical tests for men: 1 mile run, pull ups, 9 foot ditch and zig-zag balance.
2. Trade proficiency test for tradesmen.
3. Medical test for those who pass.
4. Interview by the Board of Officers.

Documents Required

• Discharge book (original) and PPO (original).
• Nine recent passport size photographs.
• Character certificate from the Sarpanch or Police.
• Education and domicile certificates.
